The project consisted of developing a 1,000 sqm luxury villa in Hermance, Switzerland, on the shores of Lake Geneva. While the client specified several required functions, the overall architectural and interior concept was left to the designer’s discretion. The program included a library, prep kitchen, wine cellar, spa, gym, cinema room, and staff studio. The final outcome was a fully developed concept design that subsequently received approval for the planning permission process. For the basement level, one of the key requirements was the inclusion of a car elevator and a turning platform to minimise the footprint of the underground garage. The first floor accommodates all bedrooms and a family room, with each bedroom designed to include walk-in closet space and a private bathroom.
